1. Employee swipe to login available for employee identification. Up to 20 alphanumeric characters are available as an admin or employee PIN. There’s a possibility to log in with card swipe, or manually typed 4 digits PIN. Also, manager is able to swipe his card for authorization purposes, e.g. cash drawer pop-up, refunds. Only MagTek devices supported.
2. New split type – Split by Amount. Select Split payment type>Split by Amount and freely divide order total into preferable parts.
3.  Barcode visible on the printed receipt.Set up in the Connect Main Menu>Options>Vendor Roles>Printing Tab. 

   1D – if enabled (Order Number Barcode), Order ID/Check number, no additional text.

   2D – QR code, uses the Custom barcode Text field.

Fixed

1. Sold Out items marking improper behavior fix. Sold Out modifiers and Sold Out inventory items were not displayed correctly.
2. Seat loading fix. Now, seat loads quicker.
3. Rounding values fix. The decimal values are displayed properly, with 2 decimal places.

1. ELO iSeries integration.

2. Cash Bank feature became available Activate Android users. You can log in and enter Cash Start value as a shift start level.

During shift, any Adds / Drops may be declared in the Left Menu>Cash Register tab.

Each Cash Start is separated with Cash Stop during which, exact collected money amount is provided.

3. Inventory available to manage items amount. When enabled in Connect, go to Left Menu>Inventory and Count Out (select Waste / Comps) or Transfer items.

4. Ingenico encrypted swiper iPP350 is now available for use and it has been integrated.

5. Barcode scanners supported – Code CR5000, CR900, Zebra DS6707. To enable barcode scan go to Connect Main Menu>Options>Employee Roles>General tab and switch on the Enable Barcode Scanner.

Additionally, barcode needs to be assigned to an item as an alphanumeric string in Connect Main Menu>Items>Item Info tab.

Due to a bug on Samsung Android 5.1.1 devices, barcode scanners are not available to use on this particular software version.

6. Item Sold Out feature available. Go to Main Menu>Items>Item info and select Sold Out item. It’s not available for purchase, marked with red Sold Out sign.

1. Cash drawer opening speed up with Autoprint enabled. Cash drawer opens before the printing ends.

1. No order summary on the signature and seat selection screen fix.

Go to Connect Main Menu>Options>Employee Roles> Fee/Tip/Tax Tab and enable tip before signature.

To enable signature for credit orders go to Connect Main Menu>Options>Employee Roles>Checkout Tab.

If Require Signature is enabled, order amount bottom level for the signature screen to appear may be selected.

When the Signature Amount is not set, or when total order value exceeds the assigned Signature Amount particular tip view is displayed:

 

When the total order value is lower than the Signature Amount or Require Signature switch is disabled, smaller tip notifier is displayed:

3. Ordering UI improvements.

4. Check open not allowed with no items. Notifying alert is displayed.

5. Tip selection on Main Screen view relocation. Now, add tip at charge (before or after signature screen).

6. Confirmation screen UI improvement. Updated order confirmation screens for cash and credit card payment types.

1. Tip appearance workflow corrections. Tip was shown even when disabled.
2. Signature screen corrections. The signature was not shown even if the transaction exceeded the required amount.

To enable signature for credit orders go to Connect Main Menu>Options>Employee Roles>Checkout Tab.

If Require Signature is enabled, order amount minimum value for the signature screen to appear may be selected.

1. New Appetize app icon and logo.

2. Support screen available. Now contact with Appetize support team is easier in case of any doubts, purchasing difficulties.

3. Price next to Merchandise items size select view.

4. Location services alert enabled. While launching the app for the first time, location services must be turned on. Without this tracking nearby events does not work. Notifying info appears on the screen.
